The Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists monthly Comeback Athlete Award honors a different Indiana student athlete at the collegiate and high school level who has overcome adversity or injury, and returned to excel beyond expectations in their respective sport(s). These student athletes are role models who have distinguished themselves in sports and leadership.

Awards
Comeback Athletes of the Month will each receive an UNDER ARMOUR® WORKOUT SHIRT, as well as recognition at the Thomas A. Brady, MD Comeback Scholarship Award ceremonies. Monthly recipients are also invited to submit an application for the annual scholarship award.

Methodist Sports Medicine A Partnership with Indiana University Health

Eligible nominees must participate in an IHSAA-sanctioned sport and live in the state of Indiana. Nominees do not need to be a Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists patient to enter. Nominees can self-nominate, but must provide a reference such as a coach or trainer for verification.
